About Babycream
In the wake of Liverpool being named European Capital of Culture for 2008, Liverpool lifestyle gurus the Lyceum Group have joined forces with Cream, the clubbing empire that left the city in 2002, to form a scouse superteam poised to once again take Liverpool by storm. Their newest project, babycream, is an exciting new lounge bar restaurant concept, launching on 20th November 2003 in Liverpool's
re-developed Albert Dock.
A joint venture between Cream and Liverpool restaurant and bar operator, the Lyceum Group (founder of Liverpool's fĂȘted Blue Bar & Grill, Baby Blue and The Pan American Club), babycream is a marriage between two of Liverpool's biggest success stories. Their vision and flair will ensure that babycream delivers on style and contemporary design, with an emphasis on quality eating, premium drinks and the cutting edge in music.
James Barton, founder of Cream, comments:
"After two years of planning it is very exciting to be announcing this new development for the Cream brand. Drawing on all the values the Cream brand represents, Baby Cream promises to inject something new and fresh into the market".
The 616 square metre site, with a capacity of 500, will feature a main bar with two distinctly designed areas, masculine and feminine, as well as a 'powder room', restaurant and private lounge for events. Baby Cream will be the first to feature groundbreaking new technology in terms of music and entertainment, to create a unique drinking and dining environment.
With scores of projects taking place as part of a massive regeneration of the city, Baby Cream will be a destination bar in the truest sense, and is set to become one of the chicest spots to be seen out in Liverpool.
Cream and Lyceum continue to fly the style flag for Liverpool with the opening of their first Baby Cream in the city. The plan is to develop a series of Baby Cream bars nationwide in urban cities such as Leeds, Manchester and Swansea. Each bar will reflect the ethos of Cream and Lyceum, but will be designed and developed to appeal to each city's distinct target market.
With Baby Cream, the Cream brand continues to be a pioneering force for contemporary lifestyle culture in the UK, offering the ultimate in recreation for discerning party lovers everywhere.
